That worst-case isn’t here yet, but social activity is grinding to a halt. What we are witnessing is a rapid shift in world fortunes without precedent. Just one example is the airline industry, whose level of activity is dropping like a stone. Airports around the world support ecosystems of restaurants, stores, taxis and hotels that will all be affected if air travel remains depressed. In Europe alone airports and related businesses support almost 12.5 million jobs, worth some $758 billion, according to the Economic Impact of European Airports study.
We read the headlines that ‘New York City Is Prepping for Coronavirus Mayhem.’ As thousands of coronavirus cases are being recorded across the world, governments are trying everything to clamp down on its rapid spread. But everything is not working and there is little feeling coming from any corner that the all clear sirens will sound before the world is brought to its knees.
Containment of the virus is not working because health officials have no chance to determine where clusters of infection are sourced. Stock markets are freaking. Travel restrictions, limited quarantines and banning mass gatherings are at the milder end of the responses employed. On the extremes, there have been total lock-downs of cities, and threats to implement the death penalty on those who deliberately hamper the work of public health officials, who are now the new dictators of the world.
For hundreds of millions it already feels like being on a plane that has lost its engines. The decent is maddening for those who are in lockdown or are losing their jobs. Many know we are going to crash and are holding on for dear life or doing their best to prepare like their lives depend on it. For others it is more like being on the Titanic, its been struck, some strange vibrations felt, but no need for alarm…yet.
Life on earth was already an accident waiting to happen before the coronavirus hit. Our collective insanities have been catching up with us, threatening us with massive poisoning though chemicals, heavy metals and radiation exposure. And with over 250 trillion in collective debt there was never any doubt that we would sink sooner or later.
Time Magazine is saying, “There comes a point in the unfolding of every epidemic when public-health officials acknowledge that despite their best efforts, an invisible microbial foe has managed to outwit them. That time has come. Containment, in an era when viruses are given wings through the ease of international travel, is increasingly only a short-term strategy for combating infectious disease. And that’s especially true when it comes to the COVID-19 virus, which appears to jump covertly from person to person by piggybacking in some hosts without really making them sick. Detecting these people is akin to capturing clouds, and public-health officials are now acknowledging that the time for containment has slipped through their fingers.”
“The cat is out of the bag. COVID-19 cannot be contained, and we know this is going to be a pandemic,” says Dr. Tom Frieden, former director of the U.S. Centers for Disease Control. It is becoming harder to reassure a “jittery” public yet little panic is evident though that might change in the weeks and months to come.
Dr. Lawrence Gostin, Professor of Medicine at Georgetown University and Professor of Public Health at the Johns Hopkins University, wrote “Ongoing threat to physical and mental health in Hubei is unconscionable – (people are) trapped together and fearful. Moreover, once quarantine ends, people in Hubei will flee. During the influenza pandemic of 1918, quarantines delayed the spread but over time made little difference.”
As the coronavirus outbreak continues, many Americans are preparing to quarantine themselves. That means preparing for an extended stay at home, whether it’s encouraged by local officials or it’s a personal decision. Experts are warning against panic buying and hoarding of products such as toilet paper, water and cleaning supplies.
Grocery chains like Costco Wholesale Corp. and Kroger Co. have reported an uptick in sales of canned goods, paper products, and cleaning supplies. Americans, worried about a cluster of infections in Washington state, begin preparing for the possibility of disruption.
However, depending on where you are, the day of everyone rushing out to the supermarket will come like the biggest category 5 hurricane ever comes to your home town. USA Today writes, “There is nothing wrong with preparing for several days at home if required.” That must be a joke for it is weeks and months we need to prepare for as we are being threatened with collapse of too many things around us.
That collapse includes access to drugs and access to anything requiring close human to human contact. The fear that has been infected via the media has people feeling panic about getting close to others and it looks like even the Olympics are going to be canceled. Life as we know it is being canceled so beware and take care. What no one wants is upon us.
The real question is how much the panic around coronavirus will impact the economy, with the real lives of people on planet earth. The media has incited a full-blown panic for a disease that has infected 100,000 people globally, killing a little over 3,000. By way of contrast, the swine flu infected 61 million and killed 12,000… in the US alone.
Back then there was no toilet paper shortages or people freaking out like they are today. This is a media created panic. And it is having a very real impact on the economy. If the US panics to the point that people stop going out and spending money, the economy will grind to a halt.
The Good News
The good news is that air pollution in China has been cut in half. Other good news is that for 80 percent of humanity and almost 100 percent of children the coronavirus is harmless. More people are dying from the regular flu and regular pneumonia than from the coronavirus; and many more from cancer each day.
The other good news is that most of the people slated to die can be saved meaning the death rate only has to be high if people and doctors follow the lockstep of ignorance that is especially prevalent in the West. China is already starting to use intravenous vitamin C but no one is talking about using sodium bicarbonate, which working side by side with vitamin C would work like a dream. Add hydrogen medicine in ICU or at home, selenium, magnesium and iodine, Vitamin D and A and one has a full protocol appropriate to use at home or in hospital settings.

The Bad News
Does not matter if we are on the crashing plane or on the Titanic, the pilots are drunk power hungry lunatics who don’t have any intention of doing anything rational to save us from a “perfect storm” of circumstances.
President Donald Trump met with drug company executives to elicit promises of new medicines. Executives from Gilead Sciences Inc., Johnson & Johnson, GlaxoSmithKline Plc, Sanofi, Pfizer Inc. and other manufacturers told Trump they were making rapid progress on vaccines and antivirals to combat the coronavirus. This is pathetic because we already have answers. The Trump administration is testing existing “off-the-shelf” drugs to combat the coronavirus but my bet is that they will overlook the best drugs already used in emergency and ICU departments.
As we move deeper into this crisis it will become evident that there is little to no wisdom in the world that will be called upon to save us from ourselves. Most politicians are medical idiots, the mass media (elite) has it in for us, the pharmaceutical companies know nothing of or care for safety, and doctors have lost the capacity to think in scientific medical terms.
Dr. Robin Willcourt MD concludes, “We are likely to see millions of people with COVID-19. We see millions every year infected with the flu. Nothing spectacular about COVID-19. It seems as if you are old and have chronic medical conditions you are the most vulnerable to dying. But at least it isn’t killing young folk like influenza A and B is doing RIGHT NOW. We all need to calm down. It WILL escape into all populations no matter what we do. And most people will be okay.”
