The protocols of Natural Allopathic Medicine that I first introduced in Survival Medicine for the 21st Century are distant cousins of the Myer’s cocktail formulated so many years ago. Yet there are a few big differences that put medicine back in the hands of the end user and lay practitioner, furthering the outcome of medical freedom.
It is generally a mistake to try to isolate drugs the way the pharmaceutical companies do and pin hopes on a single medication that cannot possibly address all the issues a patient is facing.
The principle change is away from dependency on the medical establishment by turning away from the use of IVs (intravenous injection) and toward the heavy use of transdermal and oral methods of application. John Myers, MD, a physician from Baltimore, Maryland pioneered the use of intravenous (IV) vitamins and minerals as part of the overall treatment of various medical problems.
Dr. Jeffrey Dach wrote, “Decades ago, when Linus Pauling and Abram Hoffer first proposed mega-dose vitamin therapy as a serious treatment, mainstream medicine, aided by the press, promptly discredited this as quackery. To this day, the media faithfully bombards us with the message that vitamins and minerals are useless, harmful, or even killing us. When one considers the lowly vitamin pill as an economic rival to drugs and the dependence of the media on Drug Company advertising, the motivation to discredit mega-dose vitamins becomes all too obvious. Seemingly oblivious to this negative message, physicians quietly go about their business using mega-dose vitamin therapy in the intensive care unit with considerable success. Recent reports of this have been appearing in medical journals, finally vindicating Linus Pauling and Abram Hoffer as: ‘Yes, of course, they were right all along.’”
Now there is a great point of difference between vitamin and mineral supplements from pharmaceutical and most nutraceutical companies and the real deal of real nutrition delivered in concentrated forms. Superfoods and superfood combinations are medicines delivered in natural organic forms. Spirulina, chlorella, wheat and barley grass juice, sprouts, hemp seed proteins, or a combination superfood like Rejuvenate deliver what no synthetic pill can. The secret is eating low on the food chain. Rejuvenate and other combination formulas provide a sweeping collection of these special foods.
What I am talking about is cellular rocket fuel. Any fighter pilot of a high performance plane knows the quality of the fuel is mission critical. The idea is to feed the cells with a super-rich mixture of full spectrum nutrients. The best emergency medicine doctors know this and will use magnesium salts and sodium bicarbonate as frequently as they will use other nutrients to save their patients’ lives.
In the chapter Cellular Stress and Adaptive Cellular Capacity, I say that the strength of the cells adaptive capacity is directly related to nutritional sufficiency and proper cellular respiration that removes toxins and wastes through the cell wall. Cells can respond to stress in various ways ranging from the activation of survival pathways to the initiation of cell death that eventually eliminates damaged cells. Whether cells mount a protective or destructive stress response depends on different factors, but the most important is nutritional status.
Natural Allopathic Medicine combines the broad spectrum nutrition of superfoods with the concentrated use of transdermal magnesium therapy, iodine supplementation, bicarbonate salts as well as selenium and vitamins C and D from sunlight – while never forgetting that water is the primary medicinal in every medical system.
Dr. Joel D. Wallach says, “Our immune system requires all 90 nutrients (60 minerals, 16 vitamins, 12 essential amino acids and two essential fatty acids) to maintain and repair itself in order to protect us from infectious diseases (i.e., colds, flu, strep throat, “flesh-eating” Streptococcus A, Epstein-Barr virus, HIV, Candida albicans, rheumatoid arthritis, Herpes virus, Hanta virus, cancer, etc.). The healthiest and longest-lived cultures on the planet consistently consume high levels of 60 to 72 minerals with each meal, generation after generation, and the result is drug-free, crime-free, disease-free people who live long, productive and joyful lives and who are able to fulfill their genetic potential for longevity!”
There is no comparison between using drugs with devastating side effects, even at low dosage, and concentrated natural nutritional substances. Though allopathic medicine likes to define everything, including water, as toxic or as a poison, there are, in reality, certain medicinal substances, including water, that very rarely cause side effects, even at high doses.
Nutritional medicine rejects the use of synthetic drugs on the basis that nature makes better pharmaceuticals than the lab of man can ever make. Nutrition is life-serving whereas pharmaceuticals are mostly mitochondrial poisons. The natural nutraceuticals we concern ourselves with are the foods and liquids that are ingested. Most disease, in the view of the nutritional doctors, is an outcome of many years of unbalanced nutrition meeting up with increasing chemical and heavy metal toxicity. It is probable that most diseases represent starvation states of specific cell nutrients, thus when we replenish them we save the cells, tissues, and the patient.
For a new form of concentrated, rocket-fuel nutritional medicine, we mix high dosages of Rejuvenate with fruit and vegetable juices. Hospital-bound patients obviously do not have access to quality liquid nutrients and often have to survive through intravenous feeding of one type or another.
A key factor is dosage. We have to rescue the cells with high enough dosages of nutrients and this is made easier with Rejuvenate. For years my main recommendation was to mix spirulina with these juices but that is not nearly as pleasant as Rejuvenate. I have now tasted all of the different flavors and enjoy mixing them to make great smoothies.
